Understanding Blockchain Storage
The Product Blockchain Details page contains four main sections that provide comprehensive, verified information about the batch:
This section explains how batch data is stored using blockchain technology:
- Storage Technology: Product batch details are stored using IPFS (InterPlanetary File System), a decentralized and tamper-resistant storage network. Combined with blockchain records, this ensures the data is immutable, independently verifiable, and not dependent on any single company or server—including Databis
- IPFS Link: Tap Click here to view this data on IPFS to see the raw batch data stored on the decentralized network
- Contract Address: The blockchain smart contract address that powers the brand's tokenization system. This address can be viewed on blockchain explorers
- Token ID: The unique identifier for this specific batch within the brand's tokenization system, starting from 0
- Token Standard: The technical standard used for tokenization
- Chain: The blockchain network where this data is stored
This section displays core batch details that have been permanently stored on the blockchain:
- Strain Name: The cannabis strain name
- Batch ID: Unique identifier for this specific batch
- Batch Index: Technical identifier used in the blockchain system
- Production State: The state where the batch was produced
- Manufacturer: The person or entity that manufactured this batch
- Quantity: Amount of products in this batch
- Product Type: Category classification (e.g., Flower, Concentrate)
- Product Sub-type: Specific product classification within the category
- Manufactured Date: When the batch was produced
- Packaged Date: When the batch was packaged
This section displays high-level cannabinoid and terpene data that has been stored on the blockchain. The top 3 most concentrated cannabinoids and terpenes are included, along with total values:
- Total THC: Total tetrahydrocannabinol content percentage
- Total CBD: Total cannabidiol content percentage
Terpenes:
- Top 3 most concentrated terpenes with percentages
- Total Terpenes: Combined terpene percentage
Cannabinoids:
- Top 3 most concentrated cannabinoids with percentages
- Total Cannabinoids: Combined cannabinoid percentage
Each cannabinoid and terpene name is hyperlinked to educational information about that compound.
To view all cannabinoids and terpenes associated with a specific batch, navigate back to the Product Details Page
At the bottom of the page, you can view the complete Certificate of Analysis that Databis collected directly from the testing facility and stored on the blockchain. The PDF viewer allows you to:
