Collecting Products

Collecting products on Databis lets you build your personal library of verified cannabis products, track what you've tried, and access lab results anytime.

Accessing Product Details

To collect a product, you'll need to access the Product Details page by scanning the Databis QR Code with your mobile device.

Can't scan the Databis QR Code?

If the QR Code won't scan or is damaged, you can manually enter the Serial Number instead:

  1. Locate the Serial Number printed below the QR Code on the label
  2. Make sure you're logged in to Databis (Signing Up/Log In)
  3. Tap the hamburger menu (top left corner)
  4. Select "Scan" from the menu
  5. On the Scan page, tap "Enter the QR Serial Number" to access the manual entry field
  6. Enter the Serial Number exactly as shown on the label and tab "Submit" to be brought to the Product Details page

Verifying and Collecting Your Product

Once you're on the Product Details page:

  1. Locate the Security Code: Find the security code on your product packaging (usually hidden under a scratch-off or peel-away label near the Databis QR Code)
  2. Enter the Security Code: Type the code in the field provided near the top of the Product Details page
  3. Verify: Tap "Verify" to authenticate your product
  4. Add to Library: Once verified, tap "Add Product to Library" to complete product collection
    • If you're signed out: Tap "Sign In to Collect this Product" and log in to complete product collection

Security Code Tips

  • Each security code can only be used to collect a product once
  • If the code has already been used, the product may be counterfeit

Accessing Your Collected Products

After successfully collecting a product, it's permanently saved to your library where you can:

  • View all the products you've collected
  • Rate and review products you've tried
  • Access product details even after consumption

To view your collection, tap the three horizontal lines to open the hamburger menu and select "My Library"

Troubleshooting

QR Code Won't Scan

If the QR Code won't scan or is damaged, you can manually enter the Serial Number instead:

  1. Locate the Serial Number printed below the QR Code on the label
  2. Make sure you're logged in to Databis (Signing Up/Log In)
  3. Tap the hamburger menu (top left corner)
  4. Select "Scan" from the menu
  5. On the Scan page, tap "Enter the QR Serial Number" to access the manual entry field
  6. Enter the Serial Number exactly as shown on the label and tab "Submit" to be brought to the Product Details page
Security Code Not Working

Double-check that you're entering the code exactly as shown, including any letters and numbers. If it still doesn't work, fill out a Support Request and be sure to include the Serial Number & Security code.

Product Not Showing in My Library

Ensure you completed the collection process & logged in. Try refreshing the app or logging out and back in. Products only appear in My Library after successful verification with the security code.
